Satan tormented my mind with my reality. As I mourned over the dead things in my life, as people gave their condolences and left, I stayed at the graveyard in my mind, with ashes spread around me. My mind was occupied with dead things. Perhaps you are grieving over the death of a loved one, death of a marriage, or death of a career or friendship. If you are in mourning, it's obvious that something has died. The devil attacked me when death triggered grief, waves of emotional distractions. He launched his assaults of lies, schemes, and accusations at me. Satan wanted me to curse God and die. However, I maintain my integrity, and I give God all the praise. I decided to take off my mourning clothes and replace them with garments of praise. Glory, Hallelujah! To grant to those who mourn in Zion-to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
